Belva Brown is hosting a card making session next Thursday evening, January 12 at 6:30 pm in one of the DES classrooms across the hall from the Library. It is a fundraiser for the Library Expansion so each person is asked to donate $5. Would you and your friends be interested? The class size is 10 so call the Doaktown Library (365-2018) to register.

If there is enough interest another class will be held in February.

The Diminishing Lunch fundraiser can be held any time in your home or at the library during hours of operation. It could be a movie or games night with friends, a staff meeting or a dinner, or any event when family and friends get together.

If anyone is interested in hosting this type of event or another kind you may get a sign-up at the Doaktown Library. Call Bonnie or Belva at 365-2018 to register, to host an event or for more information on how the Diminishing Lunch works.
