| The Doaktown Community
Arena holds many events throughout the year. It
is the home of various adult hockey teams along
with all of the other Minor Hockey Teams. The
Community Youth Center finds its
home here but is temporarily closed. We have an
active Figure Skating Club also. The Village
hosts the annual Salmon
and Fiddlehead Homecoming Festival every
summer at the arena and the surrounding grounds. ICE TIME is
available at our Doaktown Arena. If

Skating Club
Our Figure Skating Club puts on an
exciting Ice Show in March every year to show
off what the children have been learning all
season. It has become quite a popular community
event. For more information, please contact Dale
Brennan at 365-7464.

nights (all ages), 5 - 7 p.m.
Minor Hockey
Our minor hockey
association keeps our
children busy in all age groups of hockey -
Mites, Novice, Atoms, Pee Wees and Midgets. You
can always find a hockey game taking place any
Saturday at our community arena during the winter
season. For
questions regarding our Minor Hockey Program,

Many of our residents who like to
play hockey participate in our Industrial Hockey
League and take part in the Ice Out Tournament at
the end of the season.
The arena is also available for
groups to rent for a night of fun. If your team
or organization is interested in renting ice

Our festival takes place every
summer at the Arena and the surrounding grounds.
It usually lasts a weekend and includes a Nite
